I'll have a lot more detail on this later as I transfer my handwritten notes to this blog, along with a lot of the pictures we took as well, however, I just wanted to provide a brief sort of review here first for those that have been following this blog and want to know what the trip was like.
So, in summary I think I will start out bold by calling this THE BEST VACATION I HAVE EVER TAKEN! There are many, many reasons why I feel this way (and my parents and Agnes agree with me on this), though I think I can boil it down to several key things that allowed me to come to this conclusion. To begin with, Princess Cruise Lines itself was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end on all counts. Terrific staff, wonderful amenities and food; its unbelievable what they serve as part of the cost of the cruise. Second, the places we visited were unique and exciting. Finally, we were able to do lots of different things that appealed to everyone in our group.
Since there is a lot to cover from the last eleven (11) days, however, I'll break it down into different sections so its not so difficult to read through. So watch this space for the next post, which will be a description of the Emerald Princess itself, followed by unique posts on every place we visited. Finally, I'll wrap up with a review of the vacation overall.
